Introduction

Indonesia as an archipelagic country located between two continents, two oceans and disaster prone plate meetings. Main Tasks TNI are to protect the people and the country of Indonesia from the threat of disaster. It takes a rapid reaction task force to handle disaster, the military has prepared PRCPB.

WHAT IS PRCPB?

PRCPB (Pasukan Reaksi Cepat Penanggulangan Bencana) is a task force that elements of the unit and the equipment consists of units of organic forces, which under normal conditions seconded to BNPB to cope with national disasters. 

PRE-DISASTER

• Coordinate with BNPB, BPBD and related agencies both central and local levels.
• Prepare and assemble resources and potential in each area.
• Asking budget requirements in accordance with the action plan.
• Task Force together with relevant agencies socialitation to the public.
• Coordinate and form a team work network with relevant agencies.
• Enhance data about the resources and potentials related to Natural Disaster Relief.
• Rehearsal implement post I and post II and implement Ready Countermeasures Test (USP) natural disasters.

STAGES OF DISASTER RESPONSE

• Prepare disaster relief measures that will be implemented and coordinate with BNPB, BPBD and relevant agencies both central and local levels
• Determining the Main Post definite point (Poskout) and prepare the Tactical Command Post (Poskotis).
• Defining and setting up shelters / temporary barracks, both for evacuation and evacuation of victims
• Gave health assistance to disaster victims and psykologis integrally
• Carry out the collection and recording of data and information in the field
• Carry out search and rescue (SAR) to the victims.
• Conducting the distribution of aid to disaster management, evacuation (victims, refugees, possessions) and humanitarian aid.

STAGE POST-DISASTER

Rehabilitation Aid

1) Physical Rehabilitation Assistance covers

                a) Improved environmental disaster area

                b) The improvement of public facilities and infrastructure

                c) Provision of shelter assistance

                d) Community service

                e) To restore security and public order

2) Non-Physical Rehabilitation Assistance includes:

                a) social psychological recovery

                b) Reconciliation and conflict resolution

                c) Restoration of social, economic and cultural

                d) Recovery of functions of government

Reconstruction Aid

1) Development of infrastructure and facilities / public facilities and conduct resettlement in a safe area

2) The reconstruction of social facilities and farming community

3) The application of proper design and use of better equipment and resilient 

Student Regiment

Brief explanation about student regiment

• Students are trained though soldiering has attended basic training regiment Indonesian Students and became part of the component of national defense. 
• Help TNI / Police in the implementation of coaching defense and national security.
• They moved quickly to help the victims of this disaster by doing fundraising and plunge into the field to entertain our relatives in the affected areas and assist the evacuation team.
